Feist at Deer Valley and The Dark Knight

Went to another concert last night. (Leslie) Feist. Great show.

If you're not familiar with her, here she is on Sesame Street.

I thought all the moms that read this (which is basically my entire readership) would appreciate that.

An in-depth, pictorial comparison to this concert is in the works.

After the Feist show, I made it by the skin of my teeth to the next hot spot, The Dark Knight premier.

As the title leads you to believe, the movie was thematically dark, but very entertaining. Harp Erstein of The Palm Beach Post agrees in this review.

You've done it again, Hollywood.

Oh! As a side note, no, I am not an avid reader of The Palm Beach Post. I just googled "thematically dark," and that review came up.

Someday I'll blog about how often I refer to Google in creating each post. Google and I are inextricably connected. And yes, I did just google "inextricably" to make sure my usage was correct.

I can't believe you made it to both events! Hope you didn't drive too fast (that's the mom in me coming out). Also, I'll have to become better acquainted with Google. Don't hold your breath though...I can't even figure out what happened to my site reader.

Oh Michael you are so funny!!! I'm so jealous that you got to go to the Dark Knight! Was it as good as everyone has been saying? I have to admit that it will be weird for me to watch knowing it was Heath Ledgers last. I really did think he was a great actor. (smile) yeah he was cute too..(smile) i'm very impressed and your google talent, well that goes without saying, every writer should do the same!

Thank you for posting the Feist on sesame street video. She is soooo good! This video is like two of my worlds colliding. My childhood and adulthood all in one clip. And I'm glad you like the look of my blog...It is quite fabulous(word of the day) if I do say so myself. I could give you the guy's number that helped me out if you like, he does an awesome job. ;)

That Sesame Street song was pretty catchy. Lots of my friends complain about the songs on their kids' shows, but I am secretly (or not so secretly) always entertained! We saw The Dark Knight anoche, too...loved it! Kind of creepy, though...no wonder Heath Ledger died!

And Fiest? You have exposed me to so many different music, I LOVE IT! Anyone who has been on sesame street MUST be good....hehehe
