What gets you through the day?

What get's you through the day?

For this guy in my philosophy class, it's raw spaghetti noodles. And this isn't a singular occurrence, but every time I see him. He just sits there and munches away.

I think the best part is that he keeps a stash of them in his pocket. It's like in Napoleon Dynamite, where Napoleon puts his leftover "tots" into his cargo pocket.

Next time the noodles make an appearance, I think I'll take Napoleon's classmate Randy's approach and smash them. Or maybe I'll ask him to share.

GROSS! I used to do that (eat raw noodles) when I was a kid. It makes me shudder now.

So funny...hmmmm I would have to say pure adrenaline gets me through the day because without it I would be a lump of nothing sleeping all day on the couch and getting nothing done!

"Gimme some of your TOTS!" One of the greatest comedies. Seriously, Napoleon Dynamite changed the way I feel every time I hear organ music.
Maybe if you bring some sauce, he'll gladly give you some of his noodles. I bet if that one guy had brought some nacho cheese, Napoleon woulda shared.
On the other hand, maybe you don't want his noodles.
If we're ever going to know for sure, you have to find out what else he keeps in his pockets? eeew. This is your mission, cuz we need to know. Well, I wanna know anyway.

You need to say, "Hey kid, gimme some of your noodles." And when he says, "No, go get your own," you can kick him in the leg where he keeps the noodles. And then he'll make the angry nerd sound of arrrggghhhh.

And I need to obviously get a life. If I can quote that movie, something is definitely wrong with me.

You know what gets me through the day? Why, seeing you! On days that I don't hear you yell, "MARIE!" out of the car window or see your smug face after you have just insulted me, I seem to struggle.

Thanks for the good laugh. I remember watching Napolean Dynamite BY MYSELF for the first time. I don't think I really laughed about it until a few days later. Scenes from the movie would sneak into my mind and I would laugh and laugh. Really...it's not a movie to be seen alone. I had to preview it for dad because he didn't have time. I'd never heard of it before. When I think about my experience watching that movie...knowing absolutely nothing about it beforehand....I still laugh. "Get your own tots...Geez!"

That is so funny! Should I make you a vote for Pedro shirt? By the way, what were you doing taking random pics in class? And, thanks for adding my new friend...or should I say yours...

Ha ha ha That is too funny! You're so good at thinking about these things. Everyone else has really said everything I thought of when I read this blog. Sorry this comment isn't more interesting. (smile)
