I'm All About the Tradition

After putting it off for a few weeks, I guess it's time for an update.

The weekend after the Disneyland Trip, an opportunity arose that I could not let pass by...a SKI TRIP.

Last year, I made it on the slopes a total of once. In order to make it a tradition, I had to do it again this year. Remember, I'm all about the traditions.

We went up the road to Sundance.

Before we hit the slopes, we stopped at McDonald's (another tradition).

What's more?

A few weeks ago my bishop surprised us when he told us at ward council that he had about 100 free day passes to DEER VALLEY. So this Saturday, we're taking a ward ski trip to the highest ranked ski resort in North America! I'll have to let you know how it goes. Maybe sometime in March...JK. If you're lucky I'll let you know before another month passes.

Thanks for the update. :) I've never been skiing...I never really plan on doing it either to be honest!

I don't think I've gone skiing since you, me and Joe took that ski class at BYU. Maybe someday...thanks for the update! Come visit!

Yeah, my husband tried to teach me to ski once. It wasn't pretty and I haven't been back since. The McDonald's part of the tradition sounds right up my alley.

Lucky you! Can you believe that I have never been skiing? I definitely could use a good old trip of sledding...now doesn't that sound like fun?

I, like you sister, have never been skiing. I have lived in Utah my ENTIRE life, save 18 months, and have only been up to a ski resort to take a tram ride (in the summer) or hike. Pretty sad but I hear its an expensive habit. I think I will stick with shopping....hehe
Have a blast!
